CITY OF BROOK PARK, OHIO ORDINANCE NO: INTRODUCED BY: MAYOR ORCUTT AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT THE GRANT FROM COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR REIMBURSEMENT COSTS OF MATERIALS USED IN PERFORMING MAINTENANCE OF COUNTY ROUTES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, Cuyahoga County has grant funding available through the Department of Public Works for reimbursement costs of materials used in performing maintenance of county routes; and WHEREAS, the City of Brook Park participates in this program and has applied for grant funding for reimbursement costs of materials used in maintenance of county routes; and WHEREAS, the total reimbursement for 2026 is $62,500.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the City of Brook Park, State of Ohio, that: SECTION 1: The Council for the City of Brook Park hereby authorizes the Mayor to accept the grant from Cuyahoga County Public Works Department, a copy of the award letter is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A". SECTION 2: It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. 2 0 2026 III <i!l 1iIIIiI Prior 2/3/26
