COUNTY ROUTES, AND DECIJIRTNG AN EMERGENCY I{I¡EREAS, Cuyahoga County has grant funding available through the Department of Public Works for reimbursement costs of materials used in performing maintenance of county routes WHEREAS, the City of Brook Park would like to participate in this program in order to be abfe to apply for grant funding for reimbursement costs of materia.Is used in maintenance of county routes,' and wHEREÀs, it would be beneficial to the City to participate in this program for roadway maintenance; and NOI,{ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDATNED, by the Councíl of the City of Brook Park, State of Ohio, that: SECTION 1: The Councif for the City of Brook Park hereby autho?I7-es the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with the Cuyahoga County Publ-ic Works Department. SECTION 2: The money needed for the aforesaid transaction shaII be paid from funds theretofore appropriated or to be appropriated for said purpose. SECTION 3: It is found and determined that all- forma.I actioñE-ã?-This Council concerning and re.lating to the adoption of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that aII deliberations of this Councif and of any of íts committees that resulted ín such formaf action were in meetings open to the pub]ic in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section I2I .22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SECTION 4: This O¡dinance is hereby decÌared to be an emergency measure ímmediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of said City, and for the further reason for the City of Brook Park to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoqa County for road maíntenance of county roads; therefore, thís Ordínance shal.L take effect and be in force immedì.ately from and after it-s pâssage and approval by the Mayor.
