OF BROOK PÄRK, OHIO i-' I L: *.p./.t-Þ/tå-åijserlge /..:j:\ .-.-" J9/7 / l4=---_ - \tsf H ._ to tz / Ia -. .._ .. .\ ,ì.-t ''.:ia ORD INANCE NO: crTy 99 47-2014 INTRODUCED BY: MAYOR COYNE AN ORD INÀNCE AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER FOR THE CONTRÀCT BETVÙEEN STATEWIDE EMERGENCY PRODUCTS, INC., .AND THE CITY OF BROOK PARK, AND DECI,ARTNG .AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, a contract between the City of Brook park and Stêtewide Emergency products. fnc., was executed on or about Febrrua ry 3, 20L4; and, WHEREAS ¡ the contract provides for the purchase and instaflation of accessory equipment for newly purèhased po.Iice Depaïtment and Fire Department motor vehicles; -and I,ùHEREAS, after this pro j ect r,ra s started it was díscovered that certain additionaf accessories and equipment were needed to compfete the proj ect; and NOW, THEREFþRE, BE rT ORDÀINED, by the Council of the City of Brook Park, State of Ohio, that: SE_CTfON 1: The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay State Wide Emergency products, Inc., for. an increase to comp-IÀtå this projecl-; a copy of the change Order is attached hereto as Exhibit "4. ', SECTION 2: The money needed for the aforesaid transactÍon sha.L l not exceed $383.00. SECTION 3: It 1s found and determined that al] formal actions of this CouncíÌ concerníng and relating to the adoption of this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this CouÀcil, and that alr deliberations of this council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formaf action were j-n m.eCing" open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements, including Section I21,.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4: This Ordinance ís hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservatíon of the public peace¿ health, safety and welfjre of saiá City, and for the further rèason to provide funds for the increase of the additionaf accessories and equipment; therefore this ordinance
