[Foundation]: Interior Waterproofing Project Overview The customer is requesting an internal waterproofing system to help manage water intrusion along the interior foundation walls. This work will include waterproofing approximately 112 linear feet of basement wall, installing 16-inch vinyl wall panels, and adding a sump pump system that will discharge to the exterior downspout. The goal of this work is to collect and control water at the interior perimeter, direct it to the sump system, and move it safely away from the basement to help keep the space dry and protected. Detailed Scope of Work Step 1 – Prepare Work Area Prepare the basement perimeter work areas as needed for installation of the interior waterproofing system. Step 2 – Install Interior Waterproofing System Install interior waterproofing along approximately 112 linear feet of basement wall. Step 3 – Install Vinyl Wall Panels Furnish and install 16-inch-high vinyl wall panels along the waterproofed wall sections as part of the interior system. Step 4 – Install Sump Pump System Install one sump pump system to collect water from the interior waterproofing system. Step 5 – Discharge Sump Pump to Exterior Downspout Run the sump discharge to the exterior and connect/discharge it to the downspout location as specified. Step 6 – Dumpster Delivery and Debris Removal Deliver a dumpster to the site for debris handling and dispose of job-related garbage after completion of the work. Step 7 – Cleanup Remove work-related debris from the immediate work area and leave the site in clean condition upon completion. Key Assumptions This estimate is based on waterproofing approximately 112 linear feet of interior wall. Pricing includes installation of 16-inch vinyl panels, one sump pump, discharge to an exterior downspout, dumpster delivery, and disposal of job-related debris. Adequate access to the basement and exterior discharge area is assumed at the time of work. Electrical power for the sump pump is assumed to be available in the work area. If unforeseen site conditions, hidden structural issues, or discharge complications are discovered during the work, additional work may require a change order. Finish restoration by others unless specifically noted. Additional Notes / Outcome Completion of this work will provide an interior water management system designed to collect basement wall seepage, direct it to the sump pump, and discharge it away from the home to improve basement dryness and reduce ongoing water intrusion.
