Cleveland Clinic E Building Expansion Seeking Phased/Conditional Plan Approval for construction of 130,000 sf (+/-) three-story expansion to E Building located on Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus. Related construction mobilization early design packages have been submitted and are currently under review by Building & Housing under separate PRJ numbers [Design Package A1 (DP-A1): Site Enabling; Design Package A2 (DP-A2): Temp Entry Enabling]. This initial Review Submission (Design Package B1 (DP-B1) is focused on the Primary Structure relate to the Expansion/Addition and includes Deep Foundations, Foundations, Primary Structural Elements (Columns & Girders), Joists and Decks for the main building addition. A fast-track project delivery is intended, with multiple future submissions under this PJR anticipated as design documents are finalized, including packages for: Complete Shell & Core; Interiors/MEPT Systems & Finish Sitework. A separate PRJ will also be submitted for new surface parking areas on an adjacent parcel. The expansion will significantly enhance emergency, surgical, and critical care capabilities while improving patient flow, operational efficiency, and overall quality of care. Anticipated Area: -New Addition: 130,000 SF +/- (3 Floors + Mech Penthouse/Helipad Vestibule)) -Renovation: 23,500 SF +/- (Basement, Level 1 & Level 2) -Enabling: Creation of new E.D.
