City Manager's Report Mr. Deforest informed that the dredging of North Park would begin around January
6, 2025. He explained that the lake had to be drained and completely dry to estimate the volume of
sediment that would need to be removed. Once the lake was drained, grant paperwork needed to be
completed, money had to come in, and then the contract could be awarded. The project should start
January 6 and take no longer than 60 days to complete.
He reminded that a parking band would be in effect if there were 2 or more inches of snow on the road.
Residents could refer to the City's website at www .brunswick.oh.us or call the Division of Police's nonÂ
emergency number (330) 225-9111 for information on parking bands. This will keep the road clear of
vehicles for the snow plows. Mr. DeForest asked residents not to push snow into the roadway or on others'
property. Fire hydrants should also remain clear of snow.
