Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance The regular meeting of Brunswick City Council was called to order by
Mayor Ron Falconi at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Complex.
Roll Call of Members showed the following Council Members present: Nicholas Hanek, Brandon Lambert,
Michael Abella Jr., Keith Kuczma, Joseph Delsanter, Tim Smith, Kristy Piper.
Others Present: Mayor Ron Falconi, City Manager/Safety Director Carl DeForest, law Director Dennis
Nevar, Clerk of Council Laura Timura.

Approval of Regular Council Meeting Minutes

Mayor's Report:
Mayor Falconi recommended the reappointment of Stanley Socha and Vincent Carl to the Board of Zoning
Appeals and the appointment of Nate Witsaman to the Financial Audit, Review & Advisory Committee. If
Council has any questions regarding these recommendations, they can contact the Mayor.

City Manager's Report Mr. DeForest relayed that the E-file and E-pay income tax portals are now open and
can be accessed via the City's website, www.brunswick.oh.us. Appointments are not necessary for income
tax assistance. The Income Tax Department is available between 8:30 a.m. and S p.m. He stated that the
closer it is to April 15, the longer the waiting time will be. Mr. DeForest reminded that American flags can
be retired in a white box with a flag located by the Mayor's Court. These flags are properly collected and
destroyed by members of the VFW and American Legion during a ceremony held in late spring.

New Business Mrs. Piper mentioned that Woven with Promise will hold a prom dress giveaway on February
28 and March 1. Chardon Polka Band will be coming to the Recreation Center on March 2. The pool party
was rescheduled for March 14 from 4-6 p.m. This event will include rubber ducks and Mrs. Piper will be the

DJ. Funkology's disco party was rescheduled for March 16. Mr. Smith asked what time the Polka Band and
Funkology would occur. Mr. Kuczma confirmed that it was 2-4 p.m.
