(a) Consider a Motion to authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with
Freepoint Energy Solutions for the electric power needed for running city-owned
buildings, lighting, sirens and other city-related functions. The term of the
agreement is 36 months and the cost of energy is estimated at $.07691 per
kilowatt-hour fixed rate. The final rate will be determined at the time of the
signing of the proposed agreement. This program is through NOPEC.
(b) Consider a Motion to authorize the City Manager to enter into agreement with
Santanna Energy Services for the natural gas needed for city-owned buildings.
The term of the agreement is 36 months and the cost for natural gas is estimated
at $.6629 per Ccf fixed rate. The final rate will be determined at the time of the
signing of the proposed agreement. This program is through NOPEC.
3. Review Legislation
(a) RES. NO. 18-2026 - A resolution honoring Fire-Medic Paul Morselli for his
dedicated service to the City of Brunswick Division of Fire. - 1st Reading (To
be brought from Committee-of-the-Whole, Council/Nicholas Hanek)
(b) ORD. NO. 19-2026 - An emergency ordinance authorizing the City Manager to
submit a Petition for Annexation to the Medina County Board of Commissioners
to annex real property owned by the City of Brunswick located in Brunswick
Hills Township to the City of Brunswick - 1st Reading (To be brought from
Committee-of-the-Whole, Administration/Carl DeForest)
