1 CITY OF WESTLAKE, OHIO 2 ORDINANCE NO. 2026-12: 3 4 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO 5 PURCHASE ONE (1) SUBARU FORESTER WITH 6 SELECTED OPTIONS THROUGH THE OPEN 7 MARKET, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. 8 ______________________________________________________________________________ 9 10 WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services and the Mayor desire to purchase one 11 (1) Subaru Forester with selected options; and 12 WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has advised this Council that the City can 13 purchase one (1) Subaru Forester with selected options for the Community Services Department 14 from Brunswick Subaru through the open market. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 16 WESTLAKE, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: 17 Section 1: That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to purchase one (1) Subaru 18 Forester with selected options from Brunswick Subaru for the Community Services Department 19 through the open market as follows: 20 Section 2: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized and directed to 21 issue 22 warrants of the City of Westlake for said vehicle with selected options to the vendor listed in 23 Section 1 above in a total amount not to exceed the sum of Thirty-Three Thousand Five Hundred 24 Dollars and Zero Cents ($33,500.00). 25 Section 3: That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council 26 concerning and relating to this legislation were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and 27 that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action 28 were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 29 10, Article XI of the Charter of the City of Westlake and Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. 30 Qty.
