1 CITY OF WESTLAKE, OHIO 2 ORDINANCE NO. 2026-6: 3 4 AN ORDINANCE TERMINATING A JOB 5 CREATION GRANT AGREEMENT WITH 6 HYLAND SOFTWARE, INC. 7 ______________________________________________________________________________ 8 9 WHEREAS, Hyland Software, Inc. and the City of Westlake entered into a Job Creation 10 Grant Agreement on February 2, 2018, by and through Ordinance No. 2017-139; and 11 WHEREAS, the grant agreement requires the City to terminate the agreement should 12 Hyland fail to meet established payroll and employment projections. 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 14 WESTLAKE, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: 15 Section 1: That Council hereby terminates the February 2, 2018 Job Creation Grant 16 Agreement with Hyland Software, Inc. 17 Section 2: That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council 18 concerning and relating to this legislation were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and 19 that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action 20 were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 21 10, Article XI of the Charter of the City of Westlake and Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. 22 Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the 23 earliest period allowed by law. 24 First Reading: _____________________ 25 Second Reading: ___________________ 26 27 Passed: ______________________________ ______________________________ 28 David S.
