1 CITY OF WESTLAKE, OHIO 2 ORDINANCE NO. 2026-7: 3 4 5 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DOVER 6 VILLAGE TOWNHOMES FEE SIMPLE PLAT 7 (FOR RECORDING PURPOSES ONLY), AND 8 DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. 9 ______________________________________________________________________________ 10 11 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends that Council accept a fee simple plat 12 for the Dover Village Townhomes development (for recording purposes only). 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 14 WESTLAKE, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: 15 Section 1: That this Council does hereby accept the Dover Village Townhomes fee 16 simple plat for the Dover Village Townhomes development, a copy of which plat is on file in the 17 office of the Director of Engineering. 18 Section 2: That the Director of Engineering shall cause the revised Plat to be duly 19 recorded in the Office of the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer. 20 Section 3: That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council 21 concerning and relating to this legislation were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and 22 that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action 23 were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 24 10, Article XI of the Charter of the City of Westlake and Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. 25 Section 4: That this legislation is hereby declared to be an emergency measure 26 immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the 27 further reason that it is immediately necessary to accept the Dover Village Townhomes fee simple 28 plat for recording purposes, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of 29 all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage 30 and approval by the Mayor. 31 32 33 CITY OF WESTLAKE, OHIO ORDINANCE NO. 2026-7 PAGE 2 34 Passed: ____________________________________ 35 David S.
