LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION MEETING January 7, 2025 P a g e 1 | 1 Regular Meeting called to order at 7:11 pm by Vice Chairman Mark Scott. Members Joe Hafer, Sally Storad, and Roxanne Kane present. Ron Weekley and Martina Mann also present. Joe motioned, Roxanne seconded, November 12 regular meeting minutes, all approved. Ron informed that the BZA meeting held December 2 for Tekton Engineering was approved for the request to have different setbacks than was allowable in our zoning regulations. Ron also informed of future possible development on Kerns Drive by builder, Lawver Homes. Roxanne brought to our attention, that Dover Township’s parking section is only one page front and back. She stated that we need to consider comparing ours to theirs and following suit. Time was spent reviewing our parking section. One issue was found and needs to be removed from our current regulations. Section 203.5c has a statement “as per Section 1001.3E REVISED”. This reference does not exist and needs to be deleted. Further discussion took place on the parking topic, but much more needs to be reviewed before any other changes are made.
