RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Minutes of Lawrence Township Trustees Regular Meeting June 25, 2026 The Trustees of Lawrence Township met in regular session at 7:00PM. in the Charles E. Lundenberger Memorial Meeting Room. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Trustee Ackerman. All Trustees were present. Minutes from the June 11, 2026 meeting were approved. PUBLIC SPEAKS Township resident Jeff Zeigler presented Trustees with a Plat Map of the cul-de-sac at the end of Russell Drive that he is donating to the Township. Nikki Moore invited township residents to the 11th Annual Little Twist on Mineral Festival to be held Saturday, July 11, 2026. Resident Kevin Anslow discussed tree removal on St. Peter’s Church Rd. and the possibility of coordinating removal of additional trees along with some of his. RESOLUTION Trustee Ritterbeck made a motion, seconded by Ackerman to approve Resolution 13-26 A Resolution of the Lawrence Township Opposing the Elimination of All Property Taxes in Ohio. Ackerman: yes; Haueter: yes; Ritterbeck: yes. Motion passed. MEETING Ritterbeck made a motion, seconded by Haueter to approve the gift to Lawrence Township from Jeff Zeigler for .175 acres being the cul-de-sac at the end of Russell Dr. Ackerman: yes; Haueter: yes; Ritterbeck: yes. Motion passed. Trustees signed the Plat Map. Road Superintended Myers advised Trustees after research on what is required by OSHA, he is recommending cancel the contract with Cintas as the rates and costs have significantly increased, and they will stock the cabinet per OSHA requirements. Myers was advised of a sink hole on White Tail Run and that will be repaired tomorrow, working on mowing and preparing for chip & seal and paving. Trustee Haueter advised that he received a call regarding Sparks of Giving and what roads will be barricaded off, it was determined that Myers and Haueter will meet with Quillen to discuss. Trustee Ritterbeck presented Trustees with an opportunity for a tire collection grant from the EPA as a host site with no expenses for the Township. Ritterbeck made a motion, seconded by Haueter to apply for the grant. Ackerman: yes; Haueter: yes; Ritterbeck: yes. Motion passed. Trustee Ackerman will schedule a clean-up day for the Township prior to the tire collection. Fiscal Officer Ackerman advised Trustees that the official audit for year 2024 and 2025 has been received. A motion to adjourn was made and so ordered.
