Ohio City's The Hall Seeks Permit to Become a Private Social Club

A $1.5 million Cleveland permit would convert The Hall at 1108 Kenilworth Avenue from factory use to an assembly occupancy so it can operate as a private social club. The filing also calls for sprinkler and utility upgrades and says zoning variances will be needed to address nonconforming conditions.
A reuse project in Ohio City is aiming to transform an industrial building into a private gathering space. Cleveland permit PRJ26-026630 proposes a $1.5 million interior renovation at 1108 Kenilworth Avenue that would change the building's use from F-1 factory occupancy to A-2 assembly occupancy for an operation called The Hall. The filing says exterior work would be limited to general repairs, while the larger code-related changes include underground utility upgrades and installation of a new sprinkler system. It also warns that zoning variances will be required to clear several existing nonconforming conditions before the project can move ahead.
