CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED 
RESOLUTION NO.2026 - 4 
By: Mayor Jones 
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC AND 
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD 
OF A CONTRACT FOR THE RESURFACING OF DOVER CENTER ROAD, 
PHASE 2, FROM BUTTERNUT RIDGE ROAD TO A LOCATION 400 FEET 
NORTH OF MILL ROAD IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AS DETAILED 
IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE 
MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO ENTER 
INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. 
WHEREAS, the City Administration has determined to proceed with Phase 2 of resurfacing on 
Dover Center Road from Butternut Ridge Road to a location 400 feet north of Mill Road; and 
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Economic and 
Community Development to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to perform resurfacing on 
Dover Center Road, Phase 2, from Butternut Ridge Road to a location 400 feet north of Mill Road in 
the City, as set forth in specifications on file, and to further authorize the Mayor, following approval by 
the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH 
OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: 
SECTION 1: That the Director of Economic and Community Development be and he is 
hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to resurface Dover Center Road, 
Phase 2, from Butternut Ridge Road to a location approximately 400 feet north of Mill Road in the 
City of North Olmsted, as detailed in the specifications on file, and that the Mayor, following approval 
by the Board of Control, is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City with the 
lowest and best bidder. 
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest 
period allowed by law.
