CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO.2026 -11 By: Mayor Jones A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PURCHASE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FROM SNIDER RECREATION INC. FOR USE AT CLAGUE PARK THROUGH THE SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROGRAMATA COST OF $118,370.00. WHEREAS, the Recreation Department is in need of acquiring replacement playground equipment for installation at Clague Park; and WHEREAS, as authorized by the amendment to the City of North Olmsted Charter in November of 2025, the City of North Olmsted is now a participating Sourcewell member; and WHEREAS, Sourcewell is a cooperative purchasing program for Government and Education agencies designed to solicit and establish competitive pricing; and WHEREAS, Snider Recreation, Inc. is authorized to sell playground products by and through BCI Burke, the holder of a contract with Sourewell; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to purchase BCI Burke Design 127-208643-2 for installation at Clague Park for a price of $118,370.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor or her designee is authorized to register the City of North Olmsted as a participating agency with the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchase Program; and SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase through the Sourcewell cooperative purchase program BCI Burke Design 127-208643-2 from Snider Recreation, Inc. for installation at Clague Park for a price of $118,370.00. SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
