CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED 
RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - 106

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PURCHASE A 
CUMMINS DIESEL GENERATOR SYSTEM FOR FIRE STATION ONE, 
THROUGH THE SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROGRAM 
AT A COST OF $119,699.00. 
 
 
WHEREAS, the Fire Department needs to purchase a backup diesel generator system for 
Fire Station 1 to include a Diesel Generator-Model C150D6D, 60HZ, 150kW, Aluminum Sound 
Attenuated Level Enclosure with Exhaust System, Fuel Tank-Regional, Dual Wall, Sub Base, 24 
Hour Minimum, OTEC Transfer Switch-Electronic Control, 600Amp, ModelT-OTEC600; and 
 
 
WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted will soon be a participating Sourcewell member.  
Sourcewell is a cooperative purchasing agency for Government and Education agencies.  
 
WHEREAS, the purchase includes a five-year comprehensive parts, labor and travel 
warranty. 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: 
 
SECTION 1: That the Mayor or her designee is authorized to register the City of North 
Olmsted as a participating agency with the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchase Program; and  
 
SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to execute all documents 
necessary to purchase through the Sourcewell cooperative purchase program one (1) backup 
diesel generator system for Fire Station No. to include a Diesel Generator-Model C150D6D, 
60HZ, 150kW, Aluminum Sound Attenuated Level Enclosure with Exhaust System, Fuel Tank-
Regional, Dual Wall, Sub Base, 24 Hour Minimum, OTEC Transfer Switch-Electronic Control, 
600Amp, ModelT-OTEC600 at a cost of  $119,699.00. 
 
 
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the 
earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
