[2024-17 Bio-Solids Contract Amended.pdf] CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2024 – 17 BY: Mayor Jones A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACTS FOR THE TRANSPORTATION AND DISPOSAL OF BIO-SOLIDS FROM THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT TO AN O.E.P.A. APPROVED SITE, ANOTHER N.P.D.E.S. PERMIT HOLDER, OR OTHER AUTHORIZED SITES AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENTS WITH THE TWO LOWEST AND BEST BIDDERS FOLLOWING APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF CONTROL, AS AMENDED. WHEREAS, specifications have been prepared and are on file in the office of the Director of Public Service for soliciting bids for the transportation and disposal of bio-solids from the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plan; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids in accordance with said specifications on file, and to further authorize the Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the two lowest and best bidders. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the transportation and disposal of bio-solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant, in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file, and further that, upon approval by the Board of Control, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreements with the two lowest and best bidders and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
