[2023-11 Street Resurfacing Bid.pdf] CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2023 – 11 By: Mayor Jones A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR THE 2023 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT, AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the 2023 Street Resurfacing Project on various streets in the City, and to further authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for a construction services agreement to perform the 2023 Street Resurfacing Project on various streets in the City of North Olmsted according to plans and specifications on file and further that the Mayor is hereby authorized, upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into such a contract and execute the same with the lowest and best bidder.
