For work requiring the examination of plans, the following fee schedule shall prevail.
Plan review fees under paragraphs (a), (b), €e)}-(f) and (g) below shall be paid at the time of

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1321.05 ENTITLED “PLANS
EXAMINATION FEES” OF CHAPTER 1321 OF THE CODIFIED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ENTITLED
"PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES" FOR THE PURPOSE OF
UPDATING PLANS EXAMINATION FEE SCHEDULES, AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Safety and the
Building Commissioner, it is the desire of this Council to amend Chapter 1321 of the
Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to update plans examination
fees in the Division of Building.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 1321.05 “Permit and Inspection Fees”, which reads in
its entirety as set forth on Exhibit A, be amended and as amended shall read as set forth on
Exhibit A, with such amendments identified by boldface and / or stricken text.
SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent
with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed.
Conflicting or inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re-codification.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for
the further reason that the Ordinance must be in effect to insure updated fees are implemented
in a timely fashion relative to the Spring construction season, and further provided it receives
the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
