Oberlin city council Special Meeting Minutes October 20, 2025 Special meeting -6:30 p.in.-Conference Room 2 Purpose: Adjourn into executive session to consider the sale of surplus real property at competitive bidding. A special meeting of the Oberlin City Council was held on October 20, 2025, in Conference Room 1, located at 85 South Main Street, Oberlin, Ohio 44074, and was called to order at 6:30 p.in. by Presiding Officer Eboni Johnson. Roll Call was taken as follows: Council Members: Eboni A. Johnson Michael MCFarlin Joseph Waltzer Jessa D. New Ray English Libni Lopez Kristin Peterson Absent I Others Present: Jon Clark, Law Director Greg Holcomb, City Manager Carrie Porter, Planning and Development Director Briana Reynolds, Clerk of council's Assistant (Special Meeting Only) Sondra Miller, Oberlin City Council Candidate Waltzer, seconded by Peterson, moved to adjourn into executive session to consider the sale of surplus real property at competitive bidding and to invite the City Manager Greg Holcomb, Law Director Jon Clark, Plarming Director Carrie Porter, and Oberlin City Council candidate Sondra Miller. Councilmember English was connected via telephone but did not participate in the meeting and is recorded as absent) Roll call: 5 Ayes 0 Nays Motion Carried Waltzer, seconded by MCFarlin, moved to adjourn the executive session and reconvene the special meeting at 6:59 a.in.
